The V60 is a popular pour-over coffee method featuring a cone-shaped dripper with a large hole and spiral ridges, providing precise control for a clean, flavourful brew. Its 60-degree angled sides, unique ridges, and wide opening allow even extraction, highlighting every subtle note for the purest coffee experience.

Basic Brew Recipe Ratio: 1:16.6
Place the V60 dripper on scales and tare.
1. Insert a paper filter into the V60 and rinse with hot water to remove any unwanted notes of paper and preheat the dripper, discarding the rinse water.
2. Add 18g of medium-fine ground coffee (see brew ratio guide) to the V60. Shake gently to level the ground coffee. Place the V60 on the scales and tare.
3. Boil the kettle, let it sit for 30 seconds, aiming for 90-95°C.
4. Start the timer and pour 30g of hot water over the coffee grounds to bloom, allowing the coffee to degas for 30 seconds.
5. Slowly pour the remaining 270g of water in a circular motion over the coffee, taking about 2mins 30 to complete the pour. If you have a gooseneck kettle, use this for more control
6. Let the coffee drip through the filter - this should take about 3 minutes in total from start to finish.
7. Once the dripping slows to a stop, remove the V60 dripper, pour everything into your cup and enjoy.
